Jason (Jay) Allen

As Vice President of Information Management (IM) and Information Technology (IT) with Breckenhill, Jay Allen is responsible for Business Development, Account Management and strategic placement of our IM/IT resources. He provides a high level of professional service to our private and public sector clients.

Prior to joining Breckenhill Jay has developed a strong background in the IM/IT sector while working as an Information Technology Consultant for over twelve years. With this experience Jay can provide expert advice in many diverse areas including Business Transformation, Change Management, Web Application Development, e-Learning, e-Commerce, Customer Relationship Management Systems, Learning Management Systems, Content Management Systems, and Release Management.

Jay is an IM/IT professional with strong communication skills and experience working with executives, senior managers, clients and key project stakeholders.

PRIVATE SECTOR EXPERIENCE

Jay has consulted in the IM/IT space for Rogers Broadcasting, Adobe, Rogers Publishing, and Scotiabank.

He led the development and implementation of several software, e-Commerce and e-Learning projects. While consulting to Rogers publishing he led the development and implementation of a supporting e-Commerce web property called Pharmacy Connects. Also while consulting for Adobe he led the design and implementation of several e-learning courses designed to help unix administrators make the transition from unix to windows administration.

PUBLIC SECTOR EXPERIENCE

Jay has consulted in the IM/IT space for The Cultural Human Resource Council, Canada Revenue Agency, Canada Border Services Agency, Department of National Defence, Treasury Board of Canada, The Department of Foreign Affaires and International Trade, and The Conference Board of Canada.

He led the development and implementation of several software, web application projects in the area of Human Resources, Realty Asset Management and Financial Management.
