Breckenhill's business partner James Baker, Vice-President of the National Capital Region for The David Aplin Group was nominated and recognized as one of the top business people under forty years of age in the Ottawa region.

Today Breckenhill announced their CEO, William (Bill) Wilson has completed his term as Chief Privacy Technologist with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC).  Mr. Wilson was working with the OPC under an Interchange Agreement since 2009.   During his term Mr. Wilson helped to build capacity within the OPC to meet the ever increasing challenges of examining and evaluating the adequacy of IT controls employed by government and business to protect the personal information of Canadians.

The breakfast event took place at Rideau Club in Ottawa ad dealt with the question: "How will customer data be protected in the cloud?" The session concluded with a Q&A session discussing some of the information privacy issues that attendees are facing when making the decision to move IT services to the cloud.

Breckenhill awarded standing offer to supply investigators to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada

Breckenhill was awarded a standing offer with Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada to supply privacy complaint investigators. Eight of Breckenhill's investigators qualified for the standing offer to work on both Privacy Act and PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act). Work will be performed at either the Ottawa or Toronto offices of the Privacy Commissioner. The duration of the standing offer is for 2 years with options for another two years.

In June 2009, Ameria CJSC, the RA Civil Service Council and Foreign Financing Projects Management Center of the RA Ministry of Finance signed a three-sided agreement on implementation of the project “Designing a Development Strategy for the Civil Service System of the Republic of Armenia”, including training. The project will be implemented by the Consultant represented by Ameria CJSC in association with Breckenhill Inc. The project for the most part is funded by the World Bank, with co-financing by the RA Government.
